Does Report-IT work on all iPhones, iPads, and iPods?

Report-IT requires iPhone OS 3.1.2 or greater.

Apple iPhone4:

  • Report-IT is primarily designed and targeted at the iPhone 3GS and iPhone4 platforms and so all features are supported provided that required network infrastructure is available. I.e. 3G or Wifi.

Apple iPhone 3GS:

  • Report-IT is primarily designed and targeted at the iPhone 3GS and iPhone4 platforms and so all features are supported provided that required network infrastructure is available. I.e. 3G or Wifi.

Apple iPhone 3G:

  • AAC-LC encoding of files for FTP transfer is NOT supported on the iPhone 3G.
  • All other features are supported.
  • NOTE. You may experience audio artefacts from version 2.3.1 of Report-IT. Tieline is currently investigating this issue.

Apple iPhone Original/1st Generation:

  • Is NOT supported by Report-IT.

Apple iPod Touch 3rd & 2nd Generation:

  • All Report-IT features except 3G network access.
  • An Apple Headset (with mic), Made For iPod Headset/Mic, or Made for iPod Dock device with Mic must be attached prior to starting Report-IT for audio capabilities to function.

Apple iPod Touch 1st Generation:

  • Is NOT supported by Report-IT.

Apple iPad Wifi Version:

  • All Report-IT features except 3G network access.

Apple iPad Wifi/3G Version:

  • All Report-IT features.
