There is very little configuration required for a G3 or Bridge-IT codec in order for Report-IT to establish a connection to it.
Firmware Version
The most important thing to check is that the following firmwares are being used as a minimum:
As of version 2.3 onwards, both Report-IT Lite and Report-IT Live will provide direct links to the latest compatible firmware version in the registration confirmation email sent. So please ensure that you register your copy of Report-IT and especially supply a valid email address.
If you require a firmware upgrade, please use the following form to request one:

Ports
The TCP Session Port on the codec must also be set to match the value set in the Report-IT. This defaults to 9002 (See support.tieline.com/support/users/What-TCP/UDP-ports-does-Report-IT-use-and-how-do-I-change-them/10019/ for further information on ports).
IP Streaming
Since Report-IT uses IP Streaming for audio, if you are connecting to a G3, please ensure that you have IP Streaming enabled. To determine if you have IP Streaming enabled on a G3 codec:
- Select the "Menu"
- Choose "Configuration"
- Choose "Advanced Menu"
- Choose "IP Streaming" and ensure "Enable" is selected
IP Streaming is a licensed feature for the G3 platform. Please contact support@tieline.com.au if you require an IP Streaming License. |
